All orders must be processed through the online store. Once the order has been processed, a payment will be made using the (insert) or via EFT. Once payment has cleared, the order will be shipped.

Should you require any further information prior to processing your order, please do not hesitate to contact us but no orders will be processed via email.

Please be advised that correspondence via email showing interest in an item, does not constitute a reservation of the item. If you would like The Trunk to reserve a handbag, please advise and we will put it on hold for 24 hours.

Payment, Pricing and Promotions

Payments are made by credit card when checking out on our website or by EFT directly into The Trunk’s account. The Trunk makes use of PayFast for all credit card payments. We regret that no Diners or American Express cards will be accepted. If payment is by EFT, the banking details will be included in the invoice.

Shipping and Delivery

All orders will be free within South Africa. The package will be shipped from The Trunk within 4 working days of payment clearing. Once the order has been dispatched, the customer will be notified and receives a tracking number to track their parcel.

The Trunk reserves the right to use a couriering service at their discretion.

Returns and Replacements

The Trunk offers a 100% money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase. The customer is required to notify The Trunk within 48 hours of receiving the item to express their intention to return the product. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges to ship the item back to The Trunk. The item must be shipped back to The Trunk within 7 days of the customer notifying The Trunk that they are returning the item.

Please note that The Trunk will thoroughly inspect the returned item upon receiving it and will refuse a refund if the bag is not in the exact same condition as it was prior to being sent to the customer.

Privacy and Security

All personal information supplied by the customer to The Trunk will remain private and will not be shared with any third parties. All information regarding products purchases is confidential and will not be divulged to anyone other than that buyer.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a typographical error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and you have been charged. If you have been charged for your purchase and your order is cancelled, we shall refund you with the full amount.
